Building Impact Through Six Key Programs
1. School Shoe Provision Program
This program focuses on ensuring that vulnerable refugee children have access to proper footwear needed for safe and consistent school attendance. What we do: Provide durable school shoes to vulnerable children Improve school attendance and reduce dropouts Support children’s safety and comfort in school journeys
2. Education Empowerment Program
This program addresses barriers to learning by ensuring children can fully participate in education without limitations caused by lack of basic needs. What we do: Support consistent school participation Work with schools to identify children in need Promote dignity and confidence among learners
3. Livelihoods & Employment Program
This program creates sustainable job opportunities for refugees and host communities through shoe production and related activities. What we do: Run a shoe production hub for employment Create jobs for refugees and host community members Support income generation activities
4. Vocational Training & Skills Development Program
This program equips youth and adults with practical skills to improve employability and self-reliance. What we do: Train youth in shoe-making and repair Provide entrepreneurship and business skills training Support small business start-up development
5. Sustainable Production & Innovation Program
This program promotes environmentally responsible production while improving product quality and design. What we do: Produce eco-friendly and durable shoes Improve design, quality, and production methods Promote recycling and reduce shoe waste
6. Community Integration & Advocacy Program
This program strengthens unity between refugees and host communities while promoting rights and inclusion. What we do: Promote peaceful coexistence through joint activities Advocate for refugee rights in education and livelihoods Strengthen community partnerships and inclusion

5 years of Trusted Excellence
For the past five years, Eco-Shoes Africa has remained committed to delivering sustainable, community-driven solutions that address real challenges faced by refugee and host communities. What began as a small initiative has grown into a trusted organization known for creating impact through innovation, inclusion, and resilience.
During this journey, we have supported vulnerable children with access to school shoes, improved school attendance, and restored dignity among learners. At the same time, we have created meaningful employment opportunities and equipped youth and adults with practical skills in shoe-making and entrepreneurship.
